Grant Ave ALL OF IT!

Winnipeg, ManitobaJul 29, 20032 Comments

I lived in the Corydon area for a while and my gurl lived on Grant. No matter what time of day you hit that road you will encounter photo radar. Easily spotted but most people dont seem to care. Will always either be a van or SUV parked in an obvious place with tinted windows. The limit on grant is 60 (going east) until you get past the intersection of kenaston. And 50 from there on in. They will nab at 2 over. Charge an INSANE administration fee, and happily send you a ticket in the mail. Winnipeg is the WORST city for photo radar, it’s a complete and blatant use of photo radar for a cash crop. Also watch yourself on Corydon there is ALWAYS photo radar there and the limit is 50! (even though it’s not posted)

Comments:
If there is NO speed limit sign posted in the city, the speed is 50kmh. There are signs when you come into the city from the perimeter that state that unless posted otherwise the speed limit in Winnipeg is 50kmh and 30kmh in back lanes, so you have no excuse. If you do not see a sign...go 50kmh!
