Grant Line Road Road near Wilton Road Road
Posted speed is 35 but only for about one half mile on either side of intersection. Rest of road is 55 and the city bikers love to work this area. they hide in the retail parking lots behind trees.

I received a citation for speeding on Grant Line Road between Bond Road and Wilton Rd. in April 2009. Did some research and during a two month period tickets were issued to 20 individuals for speeding in that location. Interesting the citations were issued for speeds in excess of 50 mph....the posted speed is 35mph. What about those going 40, 45, or 49 mph? Decided to fight it as I felt it obvious by the issuing of citations that the prevailing speed should be more than 35 mph and less than 50 mph. Went to court and the officer failed to appear......the citation was dismissed.
