Elk Grove, California Speed Traps
EGPD motor officer backs his bike onto the sidewalk and shoots LIDAR at vehicles that have just come downhill from the railroad overcrossing. His partner does the stop about a block further near Laguna Main Street.
I have regularly seen CHP under the overpass on the Northbound side and on the southbound freeway entrance.

Speed limit is 35mph. Reality is no body drives 35mph. Average speed is mid 40’s mph. This cop can give everyone a ticket to raise money and fund their police department.
Three to seven cops at a time, all having people over to side. Some days are radar, other days are cell phones. Easy money
Police car on side streets watching for people running stop signs and general speeding. From the looks of things he’s pretty busy. He’s normally there mid afternoon to early evening as late as 8PM but have seen him some mornings.
