Groom Rd.
A marked patrol car is usually hiding either on a side road or at the church. Both are on your left and imediatly there after turning onto the road if you are comming from Harpersville and both are on your right after the stop sign if you are comming from Jefferson. Be careful; the limit is 25 and they do enforce it. some people jokingly call this cop the Groom Rd Nazi nomatter who it is assigned that trap for the day.

I am going to be extreemely blunt. I live on Groome Rd. As far as it is a speed trap is BULL SHIT. We have no side walks and drivers go through here doing well over 35mph. It is 25MPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well posted and so are the so called "SPEED BUMPS". The only people that think it is a speed trap are those who have gotten caught speeding. Once drivers found out that the small humps in the street were a waste of tax payers money because they sail over them as if they did not exist. I hope that the police give out more speeding tickets here because it is needed . Maybe with more tickets for speeding our street won't be used for a short cut or the Indy 500.
