Highland Road near US Route 20 Euclid Avenue

Euclid, OhioMay 14, 20050 Comments

Going up or down Highland Road Hill between Euclid Avenue (US20) at the bottom and Georgetown Road at the top usually finds the Euclid Police running oncoming radar out of a moving unmarked car. These cars are always dark in color and have a blue magnetically mounted (single gumball)light on the top which they stick on the roof off to the side rather than puting it in the center. They always drive in the lane adjacent to the double yerllow lines on this four lane highway and shoot pulse radar at the oncoming traffic. They like to drive up the hill running radar as they go and when they get to the top they make a U-turn right on the hill and then go back down again running radar all the way. They do this over and over again and keep running up and down the hill until they can catch someone. The speed limit is 35 on the hill but everybody likes to do (a safe) 50 and they know it.
