I wasn’t pulled over for speeding, but it’s best to avoid driving through this town. I stopped on the side of the road one night to check my SUV’s engine coolant (had overheating problems earlier from pulling a trailer) and a city cop detained me and wanted to search my vehicle and bring a K-9 unit out. Also asked me if I had any weapons (firearms in the vehicle are legal anyway.) A DPS stopped by and told the cop to leave me alone, he had no reason to detain me.

Even if you’re not speeding, they’ll pull you over if they’re bored enough and try to find reasons to take you to jail.
