They always sit in the middle of a road after a turn or hide behide bridges, overpasses, etc.. It’s a small town and they need the money i guess. They DO NOT give warnings and you almost always HAVE to show up for court.

Just FYI - though it's a small town I agree, it gets none of the money. The officers are State Police not county or city. And yes just north and south of Martinsville are hang-outs for the state police. Watch the gray one with black stripes north of Martinsville. He'll get you every time.
