Heading home from summer vacation on Sunday afternoon, traveling north on Hwy 52 down a long steep hill going out of town. Not another car in sight, except for the officer parked behind the shrubs in a parking lot. I never bothered to slow down; the sign fifty feet ahead read 45 mph. I too, was informed the speed limit was 35 mph. I’m sure my Texas plates didn’t help my situation but I’m sure the $200 fine will help their’s.
