Highway 68, some 11 miles west of Kingman

About 16 miles east of start of SR68, 11 miles west of Kingman, direction eastbound (but don’t feel too safe going west, either). The speed limit here is 55, and is grossly underposted, as the divided roadway is wide, straight and perfectly maintained, going over mild slopes, with little traffic. You could easily do 100 there, and driving down one of those hills, your foot just itches to step on the gas pedal. I was cited here on May 31, and the cop said he got me doing 90mph (there goes $210). The ticket says he was using a stopwatch, which can be challenged in court, but not if you live in SF Bay area, some 800 miles away, and can’t make it to the hearing. Just be very careful at this spot.
