Police and Highway Patrol regularly set up speed traps entering Fayetteville on Highway 87 (MLK Freeway) from Interstate 95 and vice versa. They usually set up at the Fayetteville city limits near the East Mountain Drive exit. The police usually set up their trap as you enter the city and the highway patrol as you leave the city heading for the interstate.
