Two full-time police officers both of which work opposite days from each other and occasionally both work together. They drive gray marked cars and can be found anywhere along the 1-2 mile stretch of city limit. The chief also drives a white marked truck and will write tickets occasionally. Road construction has been completed now. Speed limits drop from 65 to 55 upon entering limits and goes down to 45mph (on main Hwy 165…..on the crossroad hwy 126 the speed limit is 25mph). They park in hidden areas just enough in site of hwy to use radar guns and will write their own grandma a ticket. I am not sure I would call it a trap because speed limits are clearly marked …so if you follow those limits you will have Dodson behind you in the blink of an eye 🙂
