HWY. 26 Entering and Exiting Town
Police hide at edge of town and will get you for not slowing down on the way into town or for speeding up as you leave town. They hide in the cemetary on South end of town and by an old shed on North end of town.

I've been driving through there nearly everyday since the late 70's at 4-5 miles over. Seen a squad nearly evertime, still haven't received a ticket!
Going North out of town, you don't dare start to speed up until you are at the 55 sign, or you're likely to get a ticket and then a nice reminder that you may want to go to court as they will often knock off a point. Now I go below the limits any way I enter/leave town.
I lived in Wisconsin 10 years ago. Rosendale is one of the more notorious speed traps in the US. Don't even go 5 over. I suggest going about 5 mph UNDER the limit. And don't speed up until you are AT the 55 sign.
