Police will often setup radar on the east side of highay 427 a couple hundred feet south of Zenway Dr (the freeway terminus) on most mornings after 7:45AM and again in the afternoon between 3:45PM and 6PM. The speed limit quickly drops from 100km/h to 80km/h just before the highway 7 exit ramp and then to 60km/h as you pass under the highway 7 overpass. There is a slight hill which obscures the presence of any vehicles or radar on the shoulder until you have crested it. Numerous vehicles maintain highway speed as they crest the hill assuring themselves a ticket and possibly a vehicle seizure under the new 50km/h over law.
