After leaving I-95 where the speed limit is 70 mph and the traffic flows at an even a higher rate you move onto Hwy 58 E (a four lane divided highway) where the speed limit is now 60 mph and the Emporia VA Police are waiting for you. While issuing you the ticket, officer says if you want to go to court I will ask the Judge to either reduce and maybe even discharge the ticket. You get to court and no officer. The Judge does reduce your ticket by roughly half and then you find out that Court costs add that amount right back on so now you have wasted half a day and gas money to pay what you could have paid up front.
