The whole town is a trap. Especially on Georgia Football game day. Saturday will definitely pay for the entire police force’s retirement fund. Watch out!More police cars than population. Reminds me of the old South Georgia speed traps of the 70’s. They will get you. Slow down unless you are cash rich.

Ten or fifteen years ago Hwy 316 was opened to Athens. The football traffic hasn't been through Auburn since then. Even when it did come through, the traffic jam was so heavy unless you were the first few cars or were late for the game, it was impossible to speed.
