Hwy. 99 Northbound to Livingston, CA
This newly opened 3 lane stretch of Hwy. 99 just North of Atwater to the City of Livingston is the latest and greatest speed trap and easy pickings for the CHP. Slow down. In this area they concentrate on the straights and avoid running traps in the curvey or around the over passes. Beware!

I can confirm this. It was a lot worse when the construction was still going on, but it has mellowed out a little bit. Once you break into the 3-lane going NB, keep your eyes on the overpasses and onramps/offramps. There is a local CHP office right off the highway (Atwater exits) near Target, so they don't have to travel far to hide on those overpasses.
