Speed limit drops from 70 to 50. They seem to target cars with out of state plates, particularly Texans returning from Lake Charles casinos.

Not really a SPEED TRAP, per se. Speed limit on bridge is 50mph, and runs for a little bit before rising to 60mph. Speed limit east bound changes to 50 right before the bridge.
Yes, WPD and CPSO/LSP hang out on westbound side to get a few quickies coming off the bridge, but it is not really a trap because you can see from the top of the bridge if they are sitting there.
