I-35, Bruceville, Texas

Bruceville, TexasFeb 20, 20114 Comments

Bruceville police officer told me I was going 84 mph. This was in very heavy traffic on Sunday afternoon. I had been following an 18 wheeler in the outside lane when he pulled in behind me from an entrance ramp. Heavy traffic and I thought he needed to get past me so I pulled over to the shoulder, he followed. There is no way someone could have driven 84mph in that traffic. But he was well mannered and did not give me a ticket. Really, would any police officer pass up giving a ticket for 84mph on that highway?

Comments:
Got last night on I-35 going north for speeding. Guess how fast I was going? 84 mph when i was actually going 70 mph which was the speed limit. The cop was very rude and when I asked to see the radar he told me he would have to video the encounter if I was taking it to court. This is a speed trap.

Well I guess the going speed limit accusation has risen to a butt chaffing 93 mph. There is absolutely no possible way to go that fast on that part of I35 with traffic as thick as it is. Not to mention the speed limit will go from 70 to 60 back up to 70 and drop down to 45 in the blink of an eye. With the concrete barrier you have to drive with care or your doomed. I am by no means am going to risk the lives of my two dogs, construction workers, myself and many others by attempting to go that fast. This PD is a scam as well as anyone who supports such behavior. One angry grandmother that's for sure.
