I-35 construction zone between Hwy 5 and mixmaster
The speed limit is only 55 in the construction zone, and it’s also marked as a construction zone, which increases the fine. WDM PD have begun to target that area, specifically running radar on the NB side of I-35 near Grand Avenue.

This would be a speed trap if anyone actually realized that the limit is 55 mph both ways. Currently there seems to be hardly any work on the construction, so people tend to revert back to the original 65 speed limit, even the cops. I've only heard of a few pull overs in this area, usually from either dangerous driving from dui or going 75 or higher. I try to stay in the speed limit range, but people will ram up on the rear of your car and force you to go back to a 60/65 mph. Most cops don't care about this now.
