The Missouri State Highway Patrol is the chief enforcer here. They lie in wait on the bridges that span I-44 with radar. The problem most people face here is that the MHP does not have uniform markings or description of their cars. They can be any color or any make. They started this enforcement as a drug deterrant, as I-44 was a major drug traffic highway, but soon found they could target speeders as well.
