I-57, mi 308 to 315
This section of I-57 has lots of underpasses and other perfect hiding places for state troopers from the nearby Illinois State Patrol HQ. Semi trucks seem the favorite target of this speed trap that is so old it could be called historic. Speed limit is not unreasonable – it’s just that they mean it here.

Oh yes, be Very careful if traveling on I-57 near and around Kankakee..IL State police are Everywhere, in marked and unmarked cars. They usually are sitting under the underpass before the Kankakee exit, and in the median.
