Speed limit drops from 65 just before the mountain to 55 MPH until past the mountain. Driven through there literally thousands of times and never seen anyone, except for a big rig or 80 year old civilian driver, actually go 55 MPH on that stretch. But lately I’ve seen Highway Patrol parked right past the curve, where there’s no way to slow down before they spot you, handing out tickets like catching fish in a barrel. Pure speed trap fascism.
