I-8 Entering AZ State Line, Coming from CA, Going East

Yuma, ArizonaJan 12, 20106 Comments

Photo enforcement. from state line to photo enforcement — 1500 feet. 65 mph sign at P/E. Entering at 70 mph speed limit in CA changes to 65 mph in AZ. AZ State Statue 28-654 states: Two yellow enforcement signs have to be in place prior to reaching photo enforcement site. 300 feet from P/E, other 300 feet from one closest to P/E. There are no enforcement signs in place. Many motorists have paid fines of up to $181.50. U can fight this in court. Take pictures of site. AZ and Redflex have been committing fraud by collecting these fines. If u were caught and paid, u can fight it in superior court. Enjoy.

Comments:
Have been back to this site various times and there are no yellow enforcement signs up yet. Arizona and Redflex are still committing fraud. This is not correct. You break the law for speeding, you paid the fine. But to illegally collect fines by speed traps. that is fraud.

Sorry to disagree, the photo radar is never placed without the signs. I've seen them. Don't agree with them but they are there.

To person that says yellow signs are there. Either you do not know the area or you are thinking of the pick-up and suv that have photo enforcement on the east side of Yuma. Over where the BP check point is at. I went by on April 4th, 2010 and there are no yellow enforcement signs in the west side of Yuma, entering from California on I-8. They are still defrauding the motorist of the USA. Arizona and Redflex are committing a major crime and getting away with it.

To person that disagrees. Again I state either you work for DOTA or Redflex, because I have been back many times and there are not warning signs. Right now, they have construction going on and the only signs there are warning signs of construction and 55 mph and 45 mph signs, then the photo camera is next. Be advice, you will pay if caught. Look up Arizona Statue 28-654.
