Carpool lane violators beware!!! 1-2 motorcycle cops sit there at least 2 times a week. Whenever they are out, I know it by the significant amount of time it takes to get from downtown Portland to the Interstate bridge. It usually takes 10-15 minutes at 3:30 M-F, but when the cops are out writing tickets that time doubles and sometimes triples because of all of the single person vehicles trying to get out of the carpool lane at the last minute. They will still get you, I have seen it hundreds of times!! Don’t take the carpool lane if you are by yourself, you WILL get caught!!
