Speed limit is set to drop from 70 to 35 very quickly over an extremely short distance. There really isn’t much in Waukomis except the speed trap, which appears to be the way the city staff is funded.
You will receive a ticket over $200 with an explanation of contacting their city prosecutor and you can get “probation” and it won’t go on your record.
Oops, they don’t mention right then that it will cost you an additional $150 for an “administrative fee” and then they will happily lie for you and change the ticket to say defective equipment.
