Interstate 394 near Lansing Thornton Road
394 just south of the 80/94 interchange. The north and south lanes of 394 are heavily patroled by Illinois state police. This section of roadway has been very recently expanded and redone. It is very easy to exceed the 55 mile an hour speed limit, especially heading south bound off of the 80/94 interchange. It is not unusual to see two state troopers working this area at the same time.
