Interstate 40 from mile 107 to mile 109
This town has contracted the county sheriffs department to patrol the town of about 300 people. Since the town officially includes a 2 mile stretch of interstate, the county cars will sit between the Mile 107 and 109 writing tickets to non-locals and searching vehicles for drugs. The town then gets a cut of the ticket proceeds, which in turn is used to pay the sheriff for the police protection.
