The speed limit is 65 and traffic travels at around 75. Every single car on the road got pulled over (about 25 cars total). An army of state cops(somewhere around 15) sits on the shoulder pulling over people that they claim were detected by an airplane a few miles back. Not clear about how the process works but seemed kind of sketchy. It is almost impossible to avoid this speed trap since the alternative is travelling at 65 through rural Illinois, and that puts you at high risk for an accident.
