Interstate 8, Westbound
About 2 miles east of Yuma the limit drops from 65 to 55.Have observed the State Patrol over the last 2 years positioned in the unpaved median about a mile before the first Yuma exit.
Be prepared for a Patrol car to come screaming out of the median notwithstanding oncoming traffic.

The speed limit on I-8 is 75 mph and reduces to 65 mph when you start into Telegraph pass. The speed limit remains at 65 mph all the way to the California State Line. By the time you leave Telegraph pass you have passed 2 65mph signs. Their is no 55mph signs on I-8 between the state line and Casa Grande in the east part of the state.
