Interstate 80

Toledo, OhioJul 31, 20071 Comments

Something I have notice on this highway… Whatever direction the first one you see is facing, 99% of the rest of them will be facing too. You Need to pay close attention to the ones hiding in the high dividers, in a car you can not see them till you are right on top of them and then it’s too late. Between the Indiana line and mile marker 80 (just past / before Toledo) they seem to be quite thick. I personally have been stopped several times in that area; I now use my cruse controll set at 69 mph to avoid getting stopped.

Comments:
In reference to the previous comment, all true. Also, I-80 going/coming from the east as you get toward Toledo is a notorious Ohio Highway Patrol speed trap zone. They've been harvesting speeders for years with radar. Although I have to admit, I actually once saw an Ohio Highway Patrol officer actually HELPING A MOTORIST who had broken down! Gee, and I thought all they ever did was pass out tickets.
