There is a large concrete divider on I85 between taylor road and bell road. As most Montgomery drivers know, cops love to sit right next to the divider and bust traffic flowing the opposite direction (as they can’t see the cop until they’ve passed the end of the divider) and by then it’s too late. I see them mostly in the mornings during rush hour. Speed limit is 70, I’ve driven by at 75 (my normal interstate speed) and never gotten pulled over, although I’ve been passed by motorists going around 80+ and they weren’t pulled over either. The cops like to sit under that large tree just past Bell Road if you’re heading towards down town.
