I-85 TRAVELERS: Just this past week, the city of Jefferson installed new signs on the interstate. They read, "Jefferson City Limit" and "Speed Checked By Detection Devices". It sounds like this speedtrap town is getting jealous of Braselton’s ability to write tickets on the interstate, and they are now letting Jefferson Police join in on the "sport". The signs are about 1 mile from either side of Exit 137 (Jefferson/Gainesville).
