Interstate 95 near Mile Marker near mile marker 106

Savannah, GeorgiaAug 02, 20071 Comments

When I was stopped the patrol cars were like a swarm of bees stopping several cars. At this point I had already slowed down and when I told the officer how fast I was going he told me that I was clocked at the overpass as I entered Savannah which was serval miles back. I did not even remember (at that point) going under an overpass.

Just got hit with a ticket here. Going 67 in a 55! Really… I drove out here from CA last year, moving. And, did over 3000K miles in 10 days. Was never even pulled over. Just drove out to FL recently. Unbelievable that they have these speed traps. Everyone on the road at 7:00-7:30pm last night was going that speed!!! Going to fight the ticket. I asked the officer what was going on. Looked like a sting operation. They were everywhere. I didn't even know what he was pulling me over for! Unreal. Love living here in Savannah. But, this is going to be a problem for a lot of folks. I believe the law is you have to go the speed that is safe. So, if everyone on the road is going 67 then if I was going 55 I would have had an accident. Really, are ya all looking to take advantage of those who are helping make Savannah a better and safer place to live.
