Lake Cook Road near Northgate Parkway

Buffalo Grove, IllinoisAug 13, 20081 Comments

The police set up in the large office building on the north side of Lake Cook Road. They are are on the lookout for westbound traffic. The road is smooth as glass and three lanes wide and feel more like an Interstate then a surface street. Don’t be fooled. The speed limit is 45 and that feels like crawling. But if you exceed it by too much you can expect to get caught. To make matters worse, the westbound traffic is coming down a slight down grade created by the overpass at Milwaukee Avenue. Morning rush seems to be the worst, but I’ve seen them most anytime of the day. My office is right there and they trap, write the ticket, then circle back right behind my office to the hiding spot. It’s a real operation. I frequently "trip" over them while I try to get into my parking lot. Be careful. It’s as regular and bad as I’ve ever seen.

Comments:
If you get a ticket from the Buffalo Grove Police at this spot or the one just to the East at the chemical company which is on the North side of Lake-Cook Rd there is a way to BEAT THEM. look up TheTicketDoctor.net and get a phone number to call.
