Lakeland Drive (HWY 25) in front of N.W. Rankin High School
Flowood Police Department now has juridiction of HWY 25 to N.W. Rankin High School. The posted speed limit, just prior to the school when traveling west, is 70 MPH. The posted speed instantly drops to 55 in front of the school. Flowood hides just over the hill on the right side of the road with radar. They use this trap to increase revenue for their little town.
