Patrol car sitting on the side of the road. They are there a lot because its only 25 miles an hour and residential.

Comments:
I would not call this a speed trap whereas the speed suddenly drops. I would call this area an appropriate location for reinforcing a safe speed limit. A) I lived off of Lincoln near Campbell (not Hilton, as the writer suggests, given Hilton becomes Campbell once you cross 696 if you are heading North) for 15 years, and was tailgated and near run off the road while trying to drive the speed limit dozens of times by speeders on Lincoln, and B) the speed limit on Lincoln from Southfield to John R roads is consistently 25 MPH, never dropping to "catch" you. Lincoln is a residential street with schools, homes, and parks where children are present at nearly all times for the day. Further, I would look to this forum to as a service to report entrapment, not to whine that you were caught actually speeding. I am glad you received a ticket if you were speeding on Lincoln.
