Loop 1604 at IH10
One uniform with Lidar on the 1604 overpass shooting to the south at northbound traffic traveling towards The Rim. Speed limit goes from 65 mph to 70 mph just past the intersection, so most folks have accelerated already. Also, merging traffic from 2 northbound on-ramps just before and after UTSA Blvd must accelerate to join traffic, and the speed there is typically 75+mph. I have seen up to 5 units pulled over writing citations at one time, and I have seen the trap in operation more than once. Obviously very lucrative for the city – use caution!!!
