Marina Drive near State Highway Pacific Coast Hwy

The posted speed on Marina Dr. is 35 MPH, which is 10 miles under the survey. Speed Trap per se. No School, etc. to lower beyond 5 miles indicated by the 80% motorists’ speed of the traffic survey. I prevailed on appeal and the ticket was reversed. No change in the postings. The outside Traffic Engineer told me he was directed to lower the speed limit beyond legally permissable limits (5 miles per hr. unless certain conditions exist) thereby creating speed traps by city hall employees. Most of your main arteries, incl. Ocean Blvd., are speed traps by deliberate intention. Subpoena the survey before you go to trial. Take pics of the area showing the conditions allowing a further reduction in speed do not exist. The surveys are erroneous, stating these particular conditions exist, such as, schools, hazards are visible to a motorist, etc. Deliberate lies on the surveys. Material misrepresentation of fact. Cops hide behind the palm trees along the blvd.
