Merriam Drive near 47th Street
Merriam Drive is 4 lanes wide at this point, and seems to be safe at 45 mph. The speed limits change from 35 to 25 west of 47th St. with no apparent reason. The locals seem to really love to hide next to the liquor store on weekends, when traffic is light and enforcment is least needed.

The speed limit is actually 30 miles per hour, not 35. And the speed limit changes to 25 because of the school that is in the area.
