Mills Street near Gibson Street
City of Kalamazoo police park their cars on Gibson street and use a hand held laser gun to pick cars off as the officer stands to the side of the road in the shadows. After taking your speed reading the officer steps out into the road directing you onto Gibson to receive a ticket from the other officer. Posted speed is 30, cross road speed limit is 40, is is a 4 lane road with a turn lane. 30 is a completely unrealistic speed limit for this road. This trap has been set up strictly for revenue generation.
