The ENTIRETY of Fred Waring, from Washington Street west to Highway 111, is a speed trap. It is the worst I have ever encountered. There are swarms of mainly motorcycle mounted police whose sole job is to write tickets and pay for the county-contracted sheriff's department. If you drive Fred Waring on a regular basis, you will get a ticket. It's inevitable. Radar, hiding behind bushes, the whole nine yards. I have seen three motorists being ticketed within a two-mile stretch.
