Shortly there after I had tire problems with my rental car in Gillette and while waiting at 2 different repair places I engaged with the 18 local residents. EACH AND EVERY one of them had their own outrageous storie's to relate over Moorcroft''s speedtraps. 2 that stood out, a woman named Mandy told me of her father who was the driver of the handicapped school bus. He received a ticket for going 22mph in a 20. Just absurd. Then a man named Rock related his story of how he was ticketed when one of Moorcroft's "Revenue Agents" cited him for going 4 miles over in a 30mph zone and get this, the officer stated he EYEBALLS him doing 4 miles over!!!!! He did fight it and it was dismissed. What a disgrace to law enforcement this town is. Extorting money from people when the country is suffering under the Covid-19 pandemic is beyond despicable, it's criminal.
