Morrison, Colorado has many places where the speed changes in large increments.
Officers hide on the west side in the wooded area on the road parallel with C470 (Cty Hwy 93). The speed limit drops 20mph from 45mph to 25mph. You do NOT get any additional time to slow down once you pass the sign. The sign does spring up on you. There is a warning sign that there is a speed change ahead. The sign is quite a bit down the road from the actual speed change.

Highway 285 SB from Hwy 8 to Parmalee Gulch Road is also a favorite hiding spot for Morrison PD.

Comments:
This was the one that got me. Funny thing I was driving our huge V8 that I can't speed if I try except on a downhill where the speed limit goes from 45 to 25 on Hwy 93. The police officer (there clearly to protect and serve) was hiding in a residential driveway, followed me all the way through town prior to stopping me after about 2 miles...yes yes I know, running the plates in case he needed backup. This speed trap is still up and running strong I got the ticket Summer of 2014. I am glad to support the economy of Morrison, this one last time.
