N Loop 288
Traveling south on N Loop 288, approaching Highway 380, there are several of the bright orange and black signs notifying of construction ahead. None of these have a reduced speed limit. However, just before cresting the overpass that carries traffic over the state highway there is a standard black and white sign. This reduces the speed limit from 60mph to 40mph at a point where simply lifting your foot off the gas, without applying the brake, almost ensures a speed 15 to 20mph over the limit as you crest the overpass into the radar.
