Starting about where the golf trail crosses the road, the speed goes down to 25 mph from a more reasonable 35 – this right in the middle of a fairly steep hill. The speed limit stays 25 all the way to Parker Road. I often use the cruise control to make my car go that slow – most cruise controls start working at around 25. If your cruise control is loose like mine, you can still get up to 31, but it still helps. The speed limit sign going downhill is often partially obscured by trees. The sheriffs hide in various spots – side roads, the school parking lot, and the parking lots of the condos near the end of the speed zone. At least once, they brought 4-6 cars, many unmarked. It is even harder to follow the speed limit going uphill because you’ve just been on Parker Road, and 25 mph is painfully slow after 55 mph. There is also a school zone in this area, but I don’t mind it, since it actually serves a useful function.
