Nine Mile Near Meadowbrook-Flashing Red Signal
Nine mile is notorious as a speed trap in Novi. (See numerous entries). It is also good for stop light citations. At 6 AM recently I received a ticket for a "flashing red" violation. Usually, when signals are "off" they flash yellow. Not in Novi. Pasting thru a red flasher is the same as running a red light, ticket-wise.
A got this at 6AM in the morning. I had not had a ticket in 20 years. It’s a trap. Watch for it.

Typical Novi revenue generation trap.
Uhhh...... Call me old, but one of the first things one should be taught in driver's ed is that a flashing red light should be treated the same as a stop sign. Wouldn't that make for some good video if all four ways only had a flashing yellow light!
