I saw the sign change from 70 mph to 55 slowed down, it further changed to 50 mph and to 40 mph, as I am driving, I am stopped by the officer. He asked me if I knew what was the posted speed limit which I did and explained him all the posted speed limits. He said I was doing 73 on a 55 mph zone, which I believe is brutal and a painful allegation. I am part of a boy scout troop and try to be a role model. I was given a ticket which I thought was unlawful. I came home and did a google search for Calvert and speed traps no wonder I was shocked to see everything posted by our citizens. I call it a source of making money for the city and a form of extortion by the city to pay bills. When will someone take legal actions against these protectors of law when they are cheating the general public on regular basis?
