Yep, I was doing 70 and as soon as I passed the sign saying the limit was 55…the cop on the other side of the road pulled me over and ticketed me for doing 70. I’m a conservative driver, you don’t even know you’re near a city!
Watch it…must be the best revenue source they have.

Slow down and that wont happen.
I checked it out the other day driving down to Bryan to hit the Home Depot. Did the guy cross the dirt to give you a ticket? I also noticed Tx Dot has two oversized warning signs and two oversized speed limit signs next to a city limits sign up on the north end of Calvert. Youd have to be drunk or blind to miss an array of warning signs that big.
