I have lived in the area for four years and the Novi Road section between 12 mile and 14 mile road has at least one cop catching speeders everyday. What makes this a tough section is that the speed changes between 45 and 35 miles an hour with few speed signs. We have many visitors who come to town to visit the mall so there are many tickets passed out. I have changed my driving patterns away from this area and have moved my primary shopping from Novi to Farmington Hills to avoid the stress of constant monitoring. A lighted speed sign at the start of the 35 mile an hour area would change this from a true speed trap to a well monitored road.
