Novi Road near Between 13 mile and 14 mile rd
At Hickory Woods Elementary School there is a traffic light with a very short yellow light. Speed on the road is 45 mph and many a driver has fallen victim to trying to beat the quick yellow. This area is patrolled quite heavily because of the school crossing and the complaints from the crossing guards.
Also 200 yards south of the light is a favorite seat-belt enforcement area. There is an "S curve" and an officer will stand at the road but concealed by a telephone pole. He radios to the 8 or so officers waiting in the bank parking lot near 14 mile.

If safety is the cops primary concern, lighted speed signs would be a great help in this reduced speed zone and would reduce the tickets passed out and make it safer for the students. This is a speed trap until they improve the speed limit signs.
